What is Sitara Akka?

Sitara Akka is a social enterprise helping students from low income communities build self-direction. It was founded by Shriya Shankar in January 2019 when she was 18 as an initiative to educate orphan girls in a children's home in Bengaluru. With time, the small project evolved into a tech-enabled organisation providing personalised learning support that is dearly loved by thousands of students across districts of Karnataka. Take a look at our journey below!
